9 days off , Tue. they called me and asked me to visit my branch after 1 day to get my new cards AGAIN !
Why?
There was a problem with the cards you got few weeks ago !
OKKKKK ... i went yesterday , Q , Delay , bilmoot got the cards with a promise to be activated within 1 hr ..
ما جربته .. انشغلت و لويه .. اهلي رايحين الحج .. و ما تفرغت الا بالليل
at night , i tried to pay a bill online .. refused
tried again
مرفوض من بنكك! .
tried another website , refused
visa , mastercard , refused ..
joined watani onlined , tried to make transfer , refused
called 1801801 .. the guy told me there is no single problem !
tried and tried and tried
2 hrs later called 801801 , after 30 mins hold
Oh all your accounts and cards are blocked !
why ?!!!
he doesnt have a clue !!!

and now? how can i get money ? i need to use my cards ! my credit cards !!
simply he answered sorry u cant , there must be something , u will know after the holiday !!

my bank made me wait THREE WEEKS to get my card, ilnikta is they had a new card ready for me, bes i was too lazy to go get it cuz the old one works fine =P then they blocked the old one so i go to pick up the new one theyr like oh no we have to make another one for you come back in 3 days .. somehow they kept asking me to come back and made me wait 3 weeks !
اختي انا صارت فيني قبل فترة بالامارات مرتين بس من بيت التمويل والمشكله انها تصادف قبل سفرتي بيومين او لية السفره كنت مفكر لما ارجع اسكر الحساب وافتح بالوطني بس من بعد موضوعج صج الله يعين انا وقت ماكانوا يبون يراضوني قالولي نطرش لك البطاقه لحد عندك بالامارات ... ولما رجعت الكويت لقيت البطاقه اليديده جاهزه
Regarding your previous post about NBK, Hong Kong bank is HSBC it doesn't have to be IN Hong Kong :)

did you try using your new ATM card in NBK Atm machines to activate it ???
it happened to me a couple of days ago ma eshtaghal 3ogob istakhdamta ib NBK atm to activate it 3ala kalam there staff bil branch oo it worked :)

i tried :/ not only my ATM cards are blocked , nbk online also .. i called them .. my account is blocked for no reason

والله هالبنك مشاكله وايد و للاسف بعد ما درت على كذا بنك قلت خل اثبت حسابي عندهم و آخذ قرض عشان ابني البيت .. و يا ليتني ما أخذت ! المشكلة مو بالقرض .. لا .. المشكلة بخدماتهم اللي الله بالخير ! يعني قعدت وياهم حروة الشهرين احاول ارفع الليميت للفيزا و اهمه متوهقين يدزون هالمعاملة حق منو ؟ لأن كل ما راسلو ادارة قالولهم مو عندنا ! بس بصراحة احسن بنك جربته كان بيت التمويل من ناحية الخدمة بس الناس هني مشكلتها تدور على الكلاس و السمعة و ما تدور على الخدمة ! و غبرااااااااا بيت التمويل هاو هاو هاو هههه

My credit card is inactive too right now, neither paypal or any other website.
Strange.
Actually
I worked in NBK for a while and I know this problem.
You should use your card at an NBK ATM machine.
Then you can access it online, or use it for KNET.
And they are professional. For a local bank.
